With all eyes having been firmly on the pitches of Germany during Euro 2024, it’s been a great opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the Three Lions across Deutschland and explore this glorious country.

For the next biggie, you’ll have to wait until June 2026: the FIFA World Cup.

This is an amazing opportunity to venture over to Canada, the US, and Mexico. What a fantastic itinerary that could be?

The tournament will last nearly six weeks with 104 matches to be played in 16 venues across 11 US cities, three cities in Mexico, and two in Canada.

Mexico City’s Estadio Azteca will blow the first whistle of the tournament. So while in Mexico, why not combine a game here with some bucket-list experiences to make a dream tour?

You can’t go all that way and not tick off the centuries-old Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, one of the most sacred and archaeologically precious UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the world. Once you conquer the ancient pyramids, you’ll be rewarded with the golden sands of Mexico’s glorious beaches.

Canada will be playing host in both Toronto and Vancouver. Take your pick of exploring either the east or the west of this majestic country. Both cities are gateways to glorious adventures.

Vancouver is often billed as “the most beautiful city in the world,” while on the doorstep of Toronto you’ll find the roaring Niagara Falls.

Alternatively, how about finally doing that tour of the States? Games will be played across this vast country.

Absorb America’s history of Civil Rights and its Gone with the Wind trail in Atlanta, Georgia. Take in a tea party in Boston, Massachusetts. Go star gazing down Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. Escape to Alcatraz and drink in the views of its Golden Gate in San Francisco and pay a visit to that famous White House in Washington.

The third place playoff will take place at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium – a perfect time to ride the coasters at Florida’s world-renowned theme parks.

And for the grand World Cup final, it’s off to the blinding lights of New York. Will Argentina be the reigning champions? Take your seat at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium to find out for yourself.

As far in advance as it may seem, if you want to cheer on England (or any other nation for that matter), then it’s advisable to secure your tickets well in advance.

If you can’t wait until 2026 for some live tournament action, then what about Women's Euros in 2025, set against the stunning landscapes of Switzerland?

There’s nothing quite like the theatre of Formula One. It’s that perfect combination of human spirit and the most advanced mechanical wizardry that sees the racing cars defy speed and mesmerize spectators.

The anticipation as the cars take up their starting positions on the grid is nerve-wracking, and the sound as they all race past is literally ground-breaking.

The Monaco Grand Prix has become the undeniable crown jewel of Formula 1 — and arguably is the most famous race in the world. Since 1955 the tight corners, sharp turns, and elevation changes make the Circuit de Monaco an instant classic, each and every year.

Not only is attending THE race a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but simply visiting the glittering French Riviera is a prize in itself. 

As one of the wealthiest and most expensive countries in the world, Monaco is the playground of the rich and famous. The marina is heaving with super yachts (many complete with onboard helipads); the car parks are teeming with Ferraris and Lamborghinis, and the boulevards are lined with designer labels and Michelin stars.

Equally glamorous is the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. As the final race of the F1 season, there’s a real ‘last day at school’ feeling during this event. The after-race concerts prolong the party with the likes of Beyonce, Rhianna, and the Foo Fighters gracing the stages of the past.

Taking pole position right on the Yas Marina Circuit is the iconic five-star W Abu Dhabi hotel. Stand on the terrace of the luxurious hotel and feel the thunder as the cars flash past.

A trip to Abu Dhabi can easily be combined with a visit to the neighbouring emirate of Dubai or a trip to a glorious desert oasis.

Swapping the Arabian Desert for the Mojave Desert, the grand prix in Las Vegas is a bright neon and colourful affair. Las Vegas is the baby on the Grand Prix circuit making its debut on the F1 calendar in 2023.

With top speeds expected to reach an astonishing 212 miles per hour on the three main straights, the 14-turn track winds along the iconic Las Vegas Strip, passing many famous landmarks.

Making the experience even more exciting is the fact that the Las Vegas Grand Prix is a night race. All of Las Vegas’s lights clash in a cascade of color creating a spectacular show that only Las Vegas can throw.

Another night-time extravaganza will take place over in Singapore. With the Singapore skyline as the backdrop, the Marina Bay Street Circuit weaves its way through the city’s streets.

The track is one of the season’s most demanding. With 23 corners, stifling humidity, and an uneven road surface, it’s a tough experience for even the top drivers.

The event is capped with a range of concerts and entertainment making Singapore an even more memorable place to visit.

With nearly 25 host cities on the circuit, you’ve got a great choice of destinations to explore. By tapping into the hospitality packages on offer, you can elevate the whole experience even further to claim that podium place.

Whether it’s India, New Zealand, South Africa, or right here in the UK at Lords or The Oval, there’s something so quintessentially British about cricket.

All eyes will be cast Down Under in November 2025 when England visits Australia looking to get its hands back on ‘the urn’.

Over two months, the Ashes will be played across five Australian cities: Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney.

Take in the vineyards of Adelaide; admire the 12 Apostles as you cruise along The Great Ocean Road towards eclectic Melbourne; scale that famous bridge in Sydney and take in the world’s most famous Opera House; go surfing in Brisbane and soak up the sun in Perth (it’s officially the sunniest capital city in Australia).

New Zealand is another die-hard cricket host and England are due to tour there this November and December.

Other than taking in an international cricket match or two, there are so many reasons to visit New Zealand. The mammoth journey to get there from the UK will be well and truly rewarded with a host of vastly opposing experiences.
